OrgChartHub Alternative for HubSpot: What to Use After the Enterprise Shift (2026)
OrgChartHub is now HubSpot Buying Groups — Enterprise plan only. Here are the best alternatives for HubSpot teams on Professional and Starter plans who still need org charts.
OrgChartHub was the go-to org chart tool for HubSpot. Thousands of sales teams used it to visualize account hierarchies directly inside their CRM. Then HubSpot acquired it.
If you are reading this, you probably already know what happened next: OrgChartHub became "Buying Groups," and it is now available only on HubSpot Enterprise plans.
If you are on Professional, Starter, or Free — you lost access. This article covers what changed and what your options are now.
What Happened to OrgChartHub
In late 2025, HubSpot acquired OrgChartHub and integrated it into their native platform as "Buying Groups." The feature lives under CRM → Companies → Buying Groups.
On paper, this sounds like good news. OrgChartHub's functionality is now part of HubSpot itself. No separate app to install or maintain.
The problem: Buying Groups is an Enterprise-only feature. If you were using OrgChartHub on a Professional plan — which is where most mid-market teams sit — you now have two choices: upgrade to Enterprise or find an alternative.
Enterprise plans start at $3,600/month for Sales Hub. For teams that were paying $0-50/month for OrgChartHub, that is not a realistic upgrade path. Most teams need an alternative.
What Made OrgChartHub Useful
Before evaluating alternatives, it helps to understand what OrgChartHub actually did well:
Visual hierarchy inside HubSpot. You could see who reported to whom without leaving the CRM. The org chart lived on the company record, not in a separate tool.
Drag-and-drop simplicity. Adding contacts to the org chart was straightforward. Drag a contact, drop it under their manager. No complex configuration.
HubSpot-native experience. It felt like part of HubSpot, not a bolt-on. This mattered for adoption — reps used it because it was right there in their workflow.
Deal context. You could see the org chart while working a deal, which helped reps understand who to engage and who was missing from the conversation.
These are the capabilities you need to replace.
Your Options in 2026
Option 1: Upgrade to HubSpot Enterprise (Buying Groups)
Cost: $3,600+/month (Sales Hub Enterprise)
Best for: Teams that are already close to needing Enterprise for other reasons — advanced reporting, predictive lead scoring, conversation intelligence. If you were considering the upgrade anyway, Buying Groups is a bonus.
Not worth it if: Org charts are the only Enterprise feature you need. The math does not work: $43,200/year for org chart functionality that used to cost under $600/year.
Option 2: Manual Workarounds (Free)
Cost: $0
Some teams fall back to manual approaches after losing OrgChartHub:
- HubSpot associations. You can create parent-child company associations and contact-to-company associations natively. This captures hierarchy but does not visualize it.
- Custom properties. Add "Reports To" or "Manager" fields on contacts. Useful for data capture but requires discipline from reps and still no visual org chart.
- FigJam or Miro. Create org charts manually in a visual tool. Works well for individual deals but disconnects the data from your CRM. Charts go stale immediately.
- Google Sheets. Some teams maintain stakeholder maps in spreadsheets. This scales poorly and lives outside the CRM workflow.
The problem with all manual approaches: They depend on reps maintaining data in two places — HubSpot and wherever the org chart lives. Data diverges within weeks.
Option 3: Third-Party Alternatives
Several tools have emerged to fill the gap OrgChartHub left.
CRM Canvas
What it does: AI-powered relationship mapping that connects to HubSpot and generates visual org charts and stakeholder maps from your existing CRM data.
Key difference from OrgChartHub: Instead of requiring reps to manually build org charts, CRM Canvas reads your HubSpot activity data — emails, meetings, deal associations — and generates relationship maps automatically. The AI identifies who is connected to whom, how strong the relationships are, and where you have coverage gaps.
HubSpot plans supported: All tiers — Starter, Professional, and Enterprise. No plan restrictions.
Pricing: $99 one-time (Founder's Lifetime Deal for the first 50 users). Regular pricing TBD.
Setup time: Minutes. OAuth connect to HubSpot, and the AI generates your first map from existing data.
What you get that OrgChartHub did not offer:
- Automatic relationship detection from email and meeting data
- Relationship strength scoring based on actual communication patterns
- Coverage gap alerts ("Zero contacts in Procurement on a $200K deal")
- Champion and blocker identification based on engagement patterns
- Dynamic maps that update as your team communicates — no manual maintenance
What you lose versus OrgChartHub:
- OrgChartHub's drag-and-drop simplicity for manually arranging hierarchies
- The embedded sidebar widget on company records (CRM Canvas generates maps you can view in-app or export)
Best for: Teams that want relationship intelligence, not just org charts. If your question is "who should I talk to next?" rather than "who reports to whom?", the AI approach gives you more actionable insight.

NextRow HubSpot OrgChart Builder
What it does: A HubSpot Marketplace app that adds an org chart sidebar widget to company records. Closest in feel to the original OrgChartHub experience.
HubSpot plans supported: Professional and Enterprise.
Approach: Manual — reps build the org chart by arranging contacts. Similar workflow to OrgChartHub.
Best for: Teams that specifically want the "org chart embedded in HubSpot" experience that OrgChartHub provided, and are willing to maintain charts manually.
DemandFarm
What it does: Full key account management platform — org charts, relationship maps, whitespace analysis, account planning, and revenue forecasting.
HubSpot plans supported: All tiers (but primarily built for Salesforce).
Pricing: $20-40/user/month with annual commitment. For a 10-person team: $2,400-4,800/year.
Best for: Large enterprise teams (50+ reps) that need a complete account planning suite, not just org charts. If you run Salesforce, DemandFarm is excellent. For HubSpot teams, the integration is secondary. Read our detailed DemandFarm comparison →
vizrm
What it does: Visual CRM relationship mapping tool.
Current status (March 2026): Multiple users in the HubSpot community have reported broken onboarding — the setup wizard throws errors and support has been slow to respond. Proceed with caution and test thoroughly before committing.
How to Choose
The right alternative depends on what you actually used OrgChartHub for:
"I need to see who reports to whom." → NextRow OrgChart Builder gives you the closest OrgChartHub replacement. Manual entry, visual hierarchy, embedded in HubSpot.
"I need to understand deal relationships and find gaps." → CRM Canvas uses AI to surface relationship intelligence from data your team is already creating. Less manual work, more actionable insight.
"I need a full account planning suite." → DemandFarm if you have the budget and team size to justify it. Overkill for most mid-market HubSpot teams.
"I just need something free for now." → Use HubSpot associations + a "Reports To" custom property. It is not visual, but it captures the data. Add FigJam for important deals where you need to see the map.
The Bigger Picture
OrgChartHub's acquisition by HubSpot follows a pattern in the CRM ecosystem: popular marketplace apps get absorbed into the platform and gated behind higher-tier plans. It happened with Sidekick (became HubSpot Sales), Signals, and now OrgChartHub.
For teams that rely on marketplace apps, this creates a recurring problem. The tool you depend on today might be Enterprise-only tomorrow.
The mitigation is to choose tools that are independently operated and have their own business model — tools where the incentive is to serve all HubSpot tiers, not to upsell you to Enterprise.
CRM Canvas is built as an independent tool specifically for this reason. It serves Starter, Professional, and Enterprise equally because that is the business model — not a feature designed to push you toward a more expensive HubSpot plan.
